A question for everyone who has given thought to social software.

Imagine a country you hear many bad things about. Say, Colombia. At the same time, many people love that country. They'd like others not to think so negatively about their country.

Now I build a website where, if you love Colombia, you can go through a super-easy wizard and create a little personal webpage with images and such explaining why you love Colombia.

You can send the link to your friends, show the page to your mom, and visitors to the site can browse some of these 1-page webpages by many people and get a feeling for the positive side of Colombia. If you create a webpage you'll hopefully be reminded of why you love this country.

My social software question:

How can I build some social network effects in this? Should I? (Don't think Friendster - that's not what I want.)

Ideas welcome!
