Adam Curry's Weblog: "I've been talking to a couple of folks in the past few weeks about using rss and bittorrent to flow video through the exisiting weblog infrastructure. Dave and Andrew's visit to Amsterdam really got things kick-started.
After a near perfect iChat/AIM video conference last night with Dave, the current plan is to develop a 'transmit/receiver application in it's simpelest form, using python, rss and bittorrent. Marcus is working on it as we speak.
Once broadcasting through this app is as easy as dragging a media file (video you made, mp3 recording etc) into a folder and forgetting about it, I expet we can get folks interested in at least using the 'receiver' portion."
Sounds somewhat like the videoblogging desktoptool I wrote about at the me-tv.org wiki.
