Lemon Squeezy is a payments platform for selling digital products and subscriptions. It acts as the merchant of record, so it handles sales tax and VAT for you. It was acquired by Stripe in 2024. I migrated a set of subscribers from Stripe to Lemon Squeezy, and their tech support handled the move.
